Solution: Inspired by Cairo’s bustling streets, we crafted a layered brand identity with hand-painted Arabic typography, geometric patterns, and vivid colors, weaving a digital and physical presence that felt like a street cart come to life.

Outcome: Zooba’s NYC launch drew over 10,000 visitors in its first month, with social media buzz generating 50,000+ engagements, cementing its status as a must-try culinary hotspot.

Description: Picture Cairo at dusk: foul carts painted with swirling Arabic script, walls plastered with posters, and geometric tiles clashing in perfect chaos. That’s the heartbeat we poured into Zooba’s brand. At Huzaifa Creative Studio, we didn’t just rebrand Zooba for its NYC debut—we brought the soul of Egypt’s streets to life. Our brand identity design is layered over 20 custom patterns, inspired by Cairo’s mix-and-match aesthetic, with a bold color palette of pinks, blues, and yellows. We collaborated with Cairo-based calligrapher Mohamed Mohamed to hand-paint the Arabic type, scan it for authenticity, and blend it with modern vectors for menus, bags, and uniforms that pop. Our content creation told Zooba’s story through gritty videos and social posts, capturing the “make a mess” vibe of eating koshari and ta’ameya. From 500 handcrafted menu designs to 1,000 branded cups, every detail screamed Zooba’s down-to-earth charm. With &Walsh, this project turned Zooba into a global name, drawing crowds and sparking a street food revolution.
